Jim and Jan came to visit their son on Saturday and we did a little shopping. I found this dress and these shoes, but was hesitant to get them. After they left and Chris and I were sitting at home, I realized that I would really like a new Easter dress. We went shopping everywhere else in Logan we could think of, but we ended up going back and buying this dress and these shoes. I love them both! I feel so feminine in them. I just need to find a different little jacket to go over it, because it will soon be summer and that one will be too warm. I also justified the purchase because we have three weddings to go to this summer. It will be nice to have something I feel cute in!
Not the best facial expression picture, but oh well. I felt so awkward having Chris take pictures of me standing there! And we didn't get a picture of us together, with him in his three-piece suit, with his tie and pocket square. Maybe another time!The dress is brown with sage green polka dots. I got so many compliments on it at church Sunday, and I was told the heels were "fabulous!" It made me love it even more! And I realized that it is the first thing that I've bought in a really long time that wasn't on super clearance. Maybe clearance rack isn't always the best... maybe.

Even just get a Wondertee from DownEast (they are super cheap)and wear it underneath without a jacket.

I think a short pink or sage or either jacket, you know the ones that kind of tie in the front would be darling.
