For the the past 15 years, Chris would develop pains in his side/ abdomen that would stick around for a few days (well, mostly nights), then disappear for a while. Sometimes it was monthly, sometimes it was less frequent. He had tests ran and ultrasounds done, but nothing was found.
Since we've gotten married we started tracking the problem, what he had eaten before it happened, etc. We found that usually it would happen after a fast Sunday when he ate greasy or heavy food after fasting. This past weekend though, things really flared up (with out much provoking) and caused him some serious pain and loss of sleep. Enough to spur him to the doctor.
After more tests and another ultrasound (the radiologist said it's a boy!), Chris gets to "deliver" an unhealthy gall bladder in a few weeks. Is it weird that I'm really excited that he's finally getting rid of his gall bladder? We've figured it was the culprit, and I'm glad to see it go. Here's to no more abdominal pains!

Congrats to Chris! About to deliver a sweet little bundle of joy. :) hehe That will be nice not to have to worry about it anymore.
Awesome!! (Awesome?) Yeah, I guess surgery is awesome when it's getting rid of a really annoying problem. Yay for finally having a solution!!
I have the same problem after fasting! Though mine is not serious enough at this point to worry about getting it taken out. Good luck to Chris and many wishes for a speedy recovery!
