It would seem I'm stuck in perpetual vacation mode for the whole month of October. And I'm more than okay with that. I started a re-cap of our Pittsburgh-DC-Philadelphia-Pittsburgh trip, but it got put on the backburner for packing and the law enforcement circus that was going on next door (we still don't know anything more about that situation).
Now I'm lying in bed with a sweet sleeping baby at my sister's new house in Utah. Vacation allows for staying in bed a bit longer to study that sweet face. She's growing up too fast. Six months on Sunday, celebrated with Grandma and Grandpa, aunt, uncle and cousins. At her appointment on Thursday she weighed in at a whopping 14 lbs 4 ounces. 15th percentile for our petite thing.
Trips seem so much better now because I get to share Millie. She got to participate in her first Cousin's Home Evening last night, but she was in bed before the caramel apples were cut and 6 adults were scrambling around the house to hide from a five and three year old. Too fun.
I could get used to vacation mode (and it seems I am). November and a routine are waiting for us. And they will just have to wait.

What fun places to travel.
My, my, Millie is miniscule!
Wow....sounds like a great life. Millie is a tiny little thing! Sadie is tipping the scales at the ~65-70th percentile!
